Amanda is a dedicated mental health therapist committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while empowering them to build resilience and develop a greater emotional well-being. With 16 years in the field, including work for mental health and addictions non-profits, correctional facilities, and the Office of Mental Health, Amanda specializes in providing support for clients dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use, and relationship issues. Amanda’s approach is a client-centered focus, offering clients a safe-space to explore their thoughts and feelings openly, while being provided the support and encouragement to overcome obstacles and live a more fulfilling life.
She received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College, Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Health Human Services at the University at Buffalo, and is currently licensed as a Mental Health Counselor as well as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor.
