Joanne (Jo) is both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner qualified to treat all ages. With over 22 years of experience, she has worked in various specialties including Psychiatry, Urgent Care, and Family Practice. Since relocating to Buffalo from the United Kingdom in 2019, Jo has been working in the specialty of Substance Use Disorders/Addiction Medicine. In addition, she continues to work as a Professor for the Graduate Nursing program at D’Youville University, and regularly precepts PA and NP students. Bringing many years of nursing and advanced practice experience, Jo’s long-term goal is to utilize her knowledge and experience to provide holistic care for patients with both physical and mental health needs focusing on medication management.
In her spare time, Jo enjoys going to the movies with her husband, listening to audiobooks, particularly horror, and spending time with friends, family, and her 2 dogs, Luna and Sunny.
