Joshua is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of providing direct person-centered care in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. He has professional experience not only working in the clinic and hospital settings, but also has extensive experience providing individualized in-home therapy. Joshua cares deeply for the genuine struggles and difficulties that come along with major life events, and he strives to keep a human perspective in mind when working with individuals on their goals, regardless of their background or situation.

Joshua obtained a BA in Psychology and Health and Human Services with a specialty in Early Childhood as well as a Masters in Social Work from the University at Buffalo. Following his education, Joshua worked at Crisis Services offering immediate on-call crisis intervention and hospital diversion support to clients throughout Erie County. He advanced his professional career by transitioning to the Regional Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health at Erie County Medical Center where he works as a team leader alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, mental health counselors, and care management staff.

Joshua maintains a balanced approach with the care he provides while supervising other clinicians and building his therapeutic skillset.

Joshua provides long-term therapy and treatment planning with a specialty in crisis management, stress reduction, self-esteem concerns, and family-based interventions. He is experienced in working with individuals of all ages, employing methodologies based on Family Systems, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
