Lisa, a licensed clinical social worker, graduated locally at the University at Buffalo Social Work through the advanced standing program. She has been working within the social work field for fifteen years in various opportunities all with the goal of providing client-centered, trauma-informed care for her clients.
Past career opportunities have included a semester internship in Vietnam through SUNY Brockport Social Work program, court advocate within a Chicago courtroom to assist survivors of domestic abuse, providing acute crisis intervention, acute mental health assessments, and interventions, trauma response services, mental health agency after-hours counseling services, forensic mental health services and is currently employed with the Office of Mental Health providing mental health outpatient services.
Through partnering with clients and a focus placed on all areas of wellness, Lisa is able to successfully assist client’s obtaining stability and reaching their goals.
