Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Matthew is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been working in the mental health field for the past 5 years. He works with patients 18 and older struggling with anxiety, depression, chemical dependency, and trauma. He is also a US Army veteran and works with patients who want a counselor who understands military and first responder culture. He has experience working in case management for veterans and has interned at the Veterans Administration while in graduate school.

Most of the work Matthew does is with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, emphasizing the development of coping skills to help those that are struggling. Additionally, Matthew is trained in EMDR which has been shown to help with trauma reprocessing. Matthew’s work takes a collaborative approach to tackle the goals you want to achieve so you can become your best version of yourself. He will focus on working with you to identify the source of pain, find techniques that will help you cope, (and/or) work together to explore any potential solutions to the problem you’re facing.
