Penny Lynn Drag has 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She prides herself on being compassionate and a non-judgmental listener that is confident and respectful of earning your trust. Having worked with various organizations including non-profits, crisis services, correctional facilities, and insurance providers, Penny is a well-rounded professional that “gets it”. Her focus is depression, anxiety, PTSD, and the special challenges that face the LGBTQIA+ community.
Through feedback from clients, they are pleasantly surprised that they are able to share laughter together during a session, despite addressing complex topics, and value Penny’s authentic, direct, and warm style.
She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Buffalo and her undergraduate degree from Buffalo State College.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. Penny also enjoys hiking, tennis, golf, water therapy, cultural events, Chill and New Wave music along with the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. Additionally, humor, Vitamin D, swimming, and iced coffee are favorites when appropriate and time warrants
